In order to restore complete normalcy, the Commissioner of Police, Osun State Police Command, CP Olawale Olokode, in his efforts to tackle crime and criminal activities has assured the residents of Alape community, Modakeke area of adequate security coverage as he personally led the Police Response Team and Tactical Unit of the Command to the scene of the incident where five people were murdered in the early hours of Friday.
This was made known in a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Opalola Yemisi Olawoyin, and made available to newsmen in Osogbo.
The CP appealed to the residents of the area to remain calm as the Command is resolute to get to the root cause(s) of the dastardly act and the perpetrator(s) will be brought to book.
The Commissioner of Police urged the residents of the area to avail the command credible information that will fast track the arrest of the perpetrator(s) of the evil act.
