The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said it will obey all orders and judgments from properly-constituted Courts in accordance with the rule of law.
The ConclaveNg had reported that the Federal High Court, sitting in Port Harcourt, had issued an order, restraining Edo state governor, Godwin Obaseki, from participating in the governorship primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), while a High Court in Ekpoma Judicial Division, also issued another order restraining the PDP, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and others, from excluding the Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, from participating in the gubernatorial primary election slated for 25th June, 2020.
