The newly recruited N-Power beneficiaries in Osun State have been charged to be dedicated to duty as they are expected to contribute to the development of the Society.
The Osun Focal Person who doubled as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Social Investment Programme, Luqman Abimbola Bello gave the charge when addressing N-power volunteers at the training/sensitization programme organised for them in all federal constituency headquartres in the state such as Ikirun, Ila, Ilesa, Ile-Ife,Iwo, Ede, Osogbo, Ikire and Ijebu-Jesa.
Bello enjoined them to reciprocate the good gesture of President Muhammad Buhari who is working very hard to make life better for the citizenry, saying to whom much is given, much is expected.
The Focal Person appreciated the effort of Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State in supporting the programme, promising that the government will continue to provide an enabling environment for the volunteers to operate.
He advised them not to relent in their support for the the present administration in the State.
Speaking in the same vein, the representative of OSSADEC, Mrs. Omotoso Rafiat explained that the government will ensure adequate supervision of the programme to compel quality delivery as envisioned by Mr.President.
Also speaking, the Tutor General, Mrs. Kikelomo Oladimeji, who represented Osun East Education District Office at the event, called on the volunteers to see themselves as important pillars of development in the school system, saying the system needed them now the more.
He enjoined them to be dedicated to duty as the principals of different schools had been directed to ensure thorough supervision and orientation.
The representative of the National Orientation Agency, Ede South Local Government Office, Mrs Moriyike Stella Pade Omisankin called on the volunteers to change their orientation as they are agents of change that should work for her development.
