Kemi Olokode-Ayelabola, Chairperson and Convener of Asiwaju Renewed Hope (ARH’23), has commended Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola (CON), for his efforts in shaping the Nigerian maritime industry.

She praised Oyetola as a respected and patriotic technocrat in President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet.

Ayelabola commended President Tinubu for carving out the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy from the Ministry of Transportation to maximize revenue generation for national economic growth.

She noted that the ministry’s focus aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 14, “Life Below Water,” creating opportunities and breaking barriers to unlock untapped resources.

Ayelabola highlighted Oyetola’s proactive disposition, commitment, and clear vision in managing the ministry, citing his impacts on Nigerian Ports Authority, Nigerian Shippers’ Council, and other maritime agencies.

Ayelabola praised Oyetola’s leadership qualities, including: Fostering transparent governance and efficient stewardship within the marine and blue economy sector; demonstrating dedication to operational efficiency, environmental sustainability, and governmental accountability.
