Ahead of the 2023 general election, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has reportedly postponed its presidential primary election.
The primary elections for aspirants contesting for Houses of Assembly which were earlier scheduled to hold on Friday were shifted.
The main opposition party has also shifted its primary elections for other positions.
Meanwhile, the PDP has yet to announce the new date for the commencement of the primary polls.
An official of the party who spoke with The Guardian disclosed that a meeting was fixed for 9:00 pm on Friday to decide the new dates.
