Popular female Islamic scholar, Alhaja Kafilat Kaola, has been reportedly stripped of her title of “Ummu Li Muminat”
(Mother of the faithful).
This came on the heels of her sex tape which was recently leaked.
The punitive action was said to have been endorsed by the Chief Imam of Ibadanland.
The punitive action was confirmed during the end of Ramadan prayer (Eid-el-Fitri) at the Agodi, Ibadan praying ground on Monday.
Recall that a certain Alhaji Sharafdeen, her ex-husband, reportedly released the sex tape that went viral.
Before he released the video, the man had alleged that Alhaja Kaola, a popular radio presenter, was a sex addict.
After the leak, Alhaja Kaola had tried to clear herself, but that appeared not to be enough.
Alhaja Kaola had earlier discloses about a year ago that her former husband was threatening to release her nude photos and videos to the public.
They were both married and had five children before they divorced in 2019.
