An 18-year-old man, Kingdom Paul, has been arrested by operatives of the Edo State Police Command for allegedly stabbing to death a 38-year-old woman, Victory Oro, in Benin City, the state capital.
The incident was said to have occurred Thursday, last week, after the lady and the man had s3x in a hotel with a promise of N2,000 payment.
The spokesperson of the Edo State Police Command, Moses Joel Yamu, confirmed the development when he paraded Paul alongside some other suspects.
Yamu, a Superintendent of Police, disclosed in a statement he read to newsmen that on September 5, 2024 at 12pm, operatives of Evbuotubu Police Division, acting on information, arrested Paul for stabbing Oro in a lodge where they went to have fun.
He added: “The victim was immediately rushed to Supreme Hospital, Upper Ekenwan, where she gave up the ghost.
“Her corpse has been deposited at the hospital mortuary for autopsy. Investigation is ongoing.”
